Well, we tried. Only 12 people signed up to stay on-site, with about 4 or 5 more "just visitin". We needed 25 people to stay onsite for the Rally to work.
So it's cancelled. We didn't have enough T-shirt or mouse pads ordered, either. So all the money from those of you who registered is coming back to you in the form of your voided checks or MOs. (Bob, I've gotta figure out how to get yours back to you. I'll correspond with you privately about it.) Those of you who were generous enough to include a little extra for the Make-A-Wish Foundation will also be getting that money back. We couldn't raise enough to make any difference so we'd rather you give it to the charity of *your* choice, or spend it on your kids or your bike or something.
You're a great group of folk, and we wish we could meet each and every one of you.
We're still going to be around on Memorial Day weekend, and if any of you want to get together in a park somewhere, let us know. We'll be happy to barbecue some burgers or something.
